New of the International Women's Day

Manifestation 8th of March

Against gender violence. For the right to freely decide their maternity. Against the wage gap. To stop discrimination. Hundreds of thousands of women mobilized on Wednesday in several countries to claim equality, something that in the XXI century is still an entelequia. In Spain, Poland, Turkey, the US or Argentina took to the streets - many of them in black - to claim their rights, to show their strength and to protest against the sexist drift of some governments. The pandemic of macho crimes or the fear of Donald Trump's ultraconservative agenda and its global impact pushed women to mobilize. And they not only marched, they also stopped partially working, consuming and participating in domestic care. A kind of female strike to show what would happen if half of humanity were stopped. If women stop, they cry, they stop for the world.
We mobilize because we can't discriminate half of humanity and nothing happens. We stopped because we don't want to be invisible, because we can go out and claim our role in the world, "demanded Gloria Garcia, an official of 52 years, one of the protest actions of Madrid. In the popular Plaza de Cibeles illuminated violet, the historic color of the struggle of women, behind banners with slogans like "Together and strong, feminists always", "International Unemployment against Patriarchy" Maria Gabian and her friends, all 18 and 19, claimed the need to maintain the struggle. "There is more sexism in the television and in the marketing. It is so ingrained that it is no longer seen, "said Gabián.

Go shopping or rest at home?

Which are the good and the bad things of shopping?

I've always loved go shopping but there are things I don't like and I wanted to share it with you.
First of all I want to say that go shopping it's not one of the most things that I like because if you want to go out to disconnet or have fun with your friend and buy something, forget the part of disconnect because it's something that you can't do with people around you that each one talking to his roll. There are lot types of people, that one that smokes, a group of people that look at you as if you were different and strange, you will always find someone that you don't want to see just because you are not friends and you will do as if you don't see him/her, etc.
Things that I hate in the shop is that not always they have sizes for everyone and many times beautiful things are sold fast.
In the other side I like the music that the shops have because are relaxing and I like to go directly to what I like and I know more, I don't usually go to stores I know that nothing will attract me. Fortunately always I find things that I like so much even if it's just shoes or accessories or one clothes.
I think there are more things for me against go shopping because I get so tired after going out for things like this.

Particle pollution has killed 26,830 people in Spain in a decade
(2000-2009)
Only two months after Madrid became the first Spanish city to restrict traffic by pollution, the National School of Health calculates the magnitude of the problem. Diaz's work speaks of 2,683 annual deaths. The investigator specifies that 651 of these premature annual deaths are associated with respiratory diseases and another 556 are associated with cardiovascular problems. The rest of the deaths are due to the aggravation of other pathologies.
The decision of the mayor Manuela Carmena to restrict traffic in Madrid sparked a controversy negacionista to the real problem of pollution. The PP spokesman at City Hall, Esperanza Aguirre, came to proclaim that the measures now Madrid had "the ideological purpose of pitting cars with people." Palamós

I'm gonna talk about Palamós and why I like it.
Firts of all is one of my favourite places where I like spend time and even with my family of there.
If it weren't for my cousins that live there, I would never have visited this beautiful place.
It's a city where you can go on holidays or live there. There is a lot of things you can do in Palamos: you can go shopping, go to the beach if it's summer and if it isn't you can just go and take photos and it's especially beautiful at sunset, or go for a walk.
Now I like more Palamos than before, because nearly a year ago the grandmother of my cousins died because of a disease and she was a strong woman that nonetheless she laughed a lot and always trying to draw a smile to those who were around her.
Whenever I go, I remember the good times with her and every time we go for a walk to the promenade, I like it more than the first time.
I recommend the place to anyone that likes spend time watching beauiful places.
And these are three pictures that I took of Palamos.

A description of a person

MY GRANDMOTHER

Her name is Sara, she doesn't work because she is more than 65 years old. My grandmother doesn't have any hobby because she is old but she also likes to do bread at hime and often likes to go to her daughter's and son's house to spend the time with them. At my home she's used to coming on Saturday's morning and I like to see her a lot.
Last year when I was at Empuriabrava's high school, after finishing the lessons I used to go to have lunch with her because she lives near high school and I miss going and having lunch with her.
Now my parents and my brothers and I sometimes go to her home to visit her and mh grandfather too.
I can't say a lot of Sara's appearance because she is also a muslim woman like me and she goes covered from top to bottom, but also wears beautiful dresses that make her more beautiful that what she is.
That strong-willed woman is so understanding and self-confident, she suffers a lot but however Sara is thick-skinned and helps her family to be like that.
I remember when I was little my cousins an I passed a lot of time in her house and my grandmother look for us so good like if we were her daughters. We were calling her "second mum" for what.
She's a great person and I couldn't live without her and her laugh, I love her so much and she is one of the biggest woman that I know.
