Arrested
for fleeing a checkpoint and tried to knock down
a patrol car in
Figueres
The
12th of November during a checkpoint in Figueres, the police stopped
a driver of a truck that fled at full speed, tried to run over a
patrol car and continued circulating at high speed on Vilatenim area
roads. He
ran through the field till he was blocked in the vegetation and when
the Mossos arrived they found only his two companions: the woman that
was in the loading area and the co-pilot, because the driver had ran.
Finally they arrested that man with 28 years and neighbor of Castelló d'Empúries (Girona), fortwo crimes against road safety for reckless driving and refusing to undergo test alcohol, and a crime of resistance to authority, which was released on charges after moving to Judicial order.
